Supervision
Supervision and Consulting
If you want to get better at understanding and using the science of attachment in your work — I can help. I offer supervision and consultation for clinicians wanting to hone their skills. I’m a certified Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) clinician and supervisor, for couples and individuals, through ICEEFT. And I am so grateful to help grow our community.
What’s the difference?
EFT supervision is typically when a clinician is working towards EFT certification. Becoming a certified EFT therapist is a big deal. It’s not easy — but it’s an accomplishment that can be well worth it. I know it has been for me. I’ve been a Certified EFT Therapist since 2016.
Consultation is when therapist(s) want to grow in this work but are not necessarily working towards certification. Help can be general or specific. I work with individuals and groups — online.
Why EFT?
Currently there are 30+ positive outcome studies for Emotionally Focused Therapy. And how it helps people create closer and more emotionally meaningful relationships. Could there be anything more important?
No other couples treatmet comes even close to having that amount of evidence backing up it’s effectiveness.
Gold Standard
Emotionally Focused therapy is a gold standard of care. Studies show that 75% of couples get better and 90% of those couples are better 2 years later.
