EFT has  lots of science behind it. Arguable, EFT is the most extant, effective, empirically validated couples counseling out there.  And we expect this training to sell out again this year, so please consider registering early.

Here’s what to Expect:

This is an official EFT training; what we also call an EFT Externship. Attending this Externship is the first step to being listed on the ICEEFT website, where clients go to find trained EFT therapists. It is also a step towards becoming a Certified EFT Therapist.

In this Externship, you will learn how to:

  • See relational distress from an attachment perspective
  • Help partners reprocess the emotional responses that maintain relationship distress
  • Shape key new interactions and bonding events
  • Overcome therapeutic impasses

This four day training provides an in-depth overview of the EFT model. Didactic presentations, case examples, demonstration videos, small group exercises and discussions will provide participants with an engaging learning experience. Training occurs in a unique co-created learning community.  Role-play work facilitated by trainers and experienced EFT clinicians including Certified EFT Therapist(s).

Here’s what NOT to Expect:

You won’t get 4 days of dry power point presentations!

This is not your ordinary training. This training weaves together didactic presentations, demonstration of the model through videos of the EFT masters, live session(s) of couples, small group activities, role-plays and a vibrant community learning. Come join us.
